9 “do’s” for a successful loan process

thumbs-up-sign

Applying for a mortgage loan is an extremely interactive process. It’s very important that you and we stay closely in touch. Here are 9 “do’s” for you:

  1. Do keep the process moving by responding as soon as possible to our requests for tax returns and other documents.
  2. Do get back to us with any decisions we need from you as soon as is reasonably possible.
  3. Do let us know about any questions or concerns you have as soon as they come up.
  4. Do continue to make all your current rent or mortgage payments on time.
  5. Do stay current on all other existing credit card and loan accounts.
  6. Do continue to keep your job and work your regular employment schedule with no unplanned time off.
  7. Do continue to use your credit cards the way you normally do.
  8. Do be prepared to explain any large deposits that have appeared in your bank accounts.
  9. Do enjoy the process of purchasing your home, but remain objective throughout, so you can continue to make decisions that are truly best for you.

We’d love to answer any questions you may have about applying for a mortgage, or get you started in the process if you’re ready. Just call or email us any time.
